My love for fashion began early, inspired by my grandmother, who built her career at Marshall Field’s in Chicago and later managed Saks Fifth Avenue for over 30 years. Some of my favorite memories are of visiting her at the store—learning firsthand her passion for retail and beautiful pieces.

In college in New Orleans, I lived among small boutiques on Maple Street, spending everything I earned on new finds and unknowingly learning the rhythm of retail and curation. After graduating, I worked in advertising but was drawn back to fashion, eventually becoming a boutique owner with stores on Armitage Avenue and in Chicago’s Southport Corridor.

After welcoming my fourth child and witnessing shifts in retail, I closed my stores—but not my connection to fashion. A new chapter began with The RealReal, where I spent four years in luxury resale before launching my own business from home, which grew into a showroom in Chicago’s Ravenswood neighborhood.

Today, Repeat After Me is a boutique, concierge-style business focused on thoughtfully sourced designer handbags—both excellent-condition and vintage—alongside a curated selection of accessories. This website marks our next step, making our finds more accessible while continuing to offer luxury at approachable prices.
